Hi! I’m Erin Harris. In July, I stepped into a new role as Assistant Principal at Saints Mary and Mathias Catholic School in Muscatine, Iowa. Before that, I spent three amazing years as a Technology Innovator with Davenport Community School District, where I got to collaborate with educators and geek out over all things edtech.
Even though I’m starting a new chapter, I’m thrilled to be back supporting the DCSD Tech Innovator team by presenting at this year’s Technology Bootcamp. Once a tech nerd, always a tech nerd.
Outside of school, I’m a mom to three busy girls who keep me on my toes with competitive dance, show choir, and enough costume changes to rival a Broadway production. My husband and I are currently building our dream barndominium in Davenport—because why not start a new job and build a house at the same time? And while I don’t technically own a dog, I’ve claimed my dad’s black lab, Shiloh, as my honorary fourth child. She knows it. He knows it. It’s fine.
